Privacy policy

Effective 20 July 2026 · applies to the Platinum Management and Platinum Team apps and the Platinum web applications ("the Service").

Who we are

The Service is operated by Monolithic Contractors Pty Ltd (Australia) ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@platinumau.com.

What we collect

Account information — your email address and sign-in credentials (managed by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see your password).
Business data you enter — company, project, stage, budget, diary, timesheet, subcontractor and tender records created by you and your team while using the Service.
Location (Platinum Team only, optional) — when a worker uses the clock on / clock off feature, a single precise location fix is captured at the moment of each tap only, and stored with that timesheet entry for verification by their employer. The app performs no background or continuous location tracking. Location permission can be declined — clocking on and off still works, and the entry is simply recorded without a location.

How it is used

Your data is used solely to provide the Service to your company: running your projects, timesheets, costs and tenders, and letting your company's account owner verify site attendance. We do not sell personal information, we do not use your data for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure provider below.

Where it is stored

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Google Cloud Platform), encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by per-company security rules: workers can only read their own entries and assigned projects, and cannot access pay or billing information.

Retention & deletion

Data is retained while your company account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing hello@platinumau.com — we will action requests within 30 days. Workers seeking correction or deletion of timesheet records should contact their employer (the account owner), who controls that data.

Children

The Service is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.

Your rights

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)). You may request access to or correction of your personal information at the contact above. If you are unsatisfied with our response you may complain to the OAIC (oaic.gov.au).

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
